Auguri di pace nel Signore! Ognuno di noi ha il suo modo significativo di celebrare il Natale, ma vorrei condividere con voi questa riflessione, sperando che trovi la via dentro il vostro cuore.
"Gloria a Dio in cielo e pace in terra agli uomini che egli ama"..."Andiamo fino a Betlemme per vedere quel che è accaduto e che il Signore ci ha fatto sapere." Luca 2, 14-15
Il Signore ha fatto conoscere a tutti noi quello che è accaduto. Abbiamo usato questo grande dono? L'argomento è da affrontare come individui e come comunità di credenti. Il Natale è un momento per la solidarietà ed il ricordo. E' un momento di gioia e di festa. Il Natale unisce gli uomini e le creature del paradiso nel ringraziare Dio. La prima reazione degli angeli e dei pastori ci dice tutto sul Natale. Noi, cristiani di oggi, abbiamo solo bisogno di meditare e ripetere le stesse parole degli angeli e dei pastori. La novella proclamata a questi pastori è caratterizzata dalla novità del messaggio, dalla sua sfida al potere e dalla sua testimonianza della verità. In particolare gli angeli proclamarono una pace senza fine a quelli che sono pronti a seguire la direzione di Dio; gli umili pastori erano pronti per andare e vedere. Durante questo Natale sforziamoci di andare e vedere il bambino nato per noi e specialmente preghiamo per la pace nel mondo. Sono molto grato del vostro impegno negli Amici di Meki e nell'essere di aiuto in così tanti modi a questo Vicariato.
Possa la gioia e la pace che Cristo porta al mondo nel periodo di Natale giungere a voi e a tutti quelli che vi sono cari.

Greetings of peace in the Lord! Each one of us has its own meaningful way of celebrating Christmas, but I would like to share with you this reflection hoping that this would also find its way into your heart.
Glory to God in the highest heaven and peace to men who enjoy his favor.

The Lord has made known to all of us what had happened. The question to be raised today is individually and as communities of believers have we experienced this great gift? Christmas is time for solidarity and remembrance. It is time for joy and festivity. Christmas unites humans and heavenly creatures in thanks giving to God. The immediate reaction of the angels and shepherds says everything about Christmas. For us today's Christians we only need to meditate and repeat the same words like the angles and shepherds. The news proclaimed to these shepherds is distinctive for the newness of the message, its challenge to the mighty, and its witness to the truth. Indeed the angels proclaimed an unlimited peace to those who are ready to follow God's direction and the humble shepherds are ready to go and see. During this Christmas let us make efforts to go and see the child born for us and specially pray for peace in the world. I am very grateful for your commitment to organize the friends of Meki and being supportive to this Vicariate in so many ways.
May the joy and peace that Christ brings to the world this Christmas season be fully experienced by you and all those who are dear to you.
